Road and Race’s Tom Bradshaw takes silver in historic F3 Festival
April 08, 2019
Road and Race’s own Tom Bradshaw has raced into second place in FIA’s Historic Formula 3 European Cup.
Tom took second place in a field of 30 formula 3 cars at the legendary Zandvoort circuit in the Netherlands.
The F3 Festival was founded on the idea to bring together all owner-drivers of Formula 3 single seaters from 1971 – 1984. With drivers from across the globe, the festival showcased cars from Ralt, Martini, Argo, Safir and GRD – the very same which have helped the likes of Ayrton Senna and Ricardo Patrese graduate to Formula 1.
Tom’s ride of choice was the ex-Tassin Argo JM6. After a somewhat fraught race 1 with the safety car called onto track mid-race, Tom was able to finish second in the overall classification for Category 2, from the back of the grid. Christain Olsen in his Martini MK39 came out on top of the leaderboard.
Road and Race are extremely proud of Tom’s achievement. To read more about our racing heritage and current competitions, check out our racing page.
